Set in 1532, the cartoon follows Estaban, a young Spanish orphan, Zia, a young Incan girl, from their beginnings in Barcelona and there voyage to South America. Once there they soon meet up with Tao, a young local and begin their quest (and destiny) to find El Dorado - The Mysterious City of Gold.
